Manoj Gautam is an acclaimed Indian writer-director and theatre artist with over two decades of experience in film, television, and stage production. He holds a diploma in Dramatic Arts from Indu Art Theatre & Film Society in Mandi House, New Delhi (2003), and honed his skills through advanced workshops in directing, writing, and editing at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune.
Manoj has helmed a wide array of projects, from independent films to international collaborations. His recent credits include Feeling Guilty (pre-production), BAQEE (nearing completion), and Dantewada as creative director (post-production), alongside earlier works like Matris Silent Saga and an exceptional TV series Arogya for Sahara Network. He has partnered with top production houses such as Bunny & Lumiere Film Productions Pvt. Ltd., EGO Entertainment, Dev Motion Pictures, Nayak Productions (USA), and Vox Populi International.
Prior to his focus on independent directing, Manoj served as Second Unit Director and Associate Director on standout films including Aajo Brahmando Jolchhe (The Universe Blazing), Iti Bokul Kotha (Bengali), and Ameena. He also contributed to numerous FTII diploma and dialogue films, building a rock-solid foundation in cinematic storytelling.
A seasoned artist of New Delhi's Mandi House theatre scene, Manoj trained with National School of Drama (NSD) luminaries like Robin Das, Gautam Mazumdar, and Surendra Kaushik, as well as Jitendra C. Raj from Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts (S.R.C.) and Act One. This rich stage background infuses his work with profound character depth, authentic performances, and masterful narrative structure.
